Frequently asked
Before your first class
What we get asked most. If your question isn't here, just message us.
Do I need previous experience?
No. Classes adapt to your level, so they work just as well for someone who has never done pilates as for someone with years of practice. If it's your first time, we suggest starting with Group Reformer or Mat Pilates.
What should I wear?
Comfortable, fitted clothes — nothing too loose, since your instructor needs to see your alignment — and grip socks, which are required for safety. If you don't have a pair, we'll sort you out here.
Is pilates good for losing weight?
Pilates builds strength, posture and control. Plenty of people notice changes in how their body looks and feels, but we don't sell it as a diet. It works best as something you keep up over time, not as a one-month plan.
I have an injury — can I still take class?
In most cases, yes. Before your first class we ask you to fill in a health questionnaire so we can adapt the exercises. If you're under treatment, check with your doctor as well.
Can I take classes while pregnant?
Yes, with adaptations and your doctor's approval. Mention it in your health questionnaire. We recommend avoiding Hot Pilates during pregnancy.
How do I book my spot?
From the Schedule section: pick your class and book it with your account. If it's full, join the waitlist and we'll email you if a spot opens up.
Can I cancel?
Yes: cancel at least 12 hours ahead and the class goes back to your account. With less than 12 hours' notice, or if you don't show up, the class is lost. There's a 10-minute grace period to arrive; after that, entry isn't possible.
How long are my classes valid?
One month. This applies to single classes, packs and memberships: classes you don't use in that time are lost.
