Legal
Privacy notice
Last updated: November 2026
At Redeem Pilates Studio we take care of your data the way we take care of your practice: with attention and respect. This notice explains what data we ask for, why, and how to exercise your rights, under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.
Draft pending legal review.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Redeem Pilates Studio, located at Tijuana, Baja California, is responsible for processing your personal data. For any privacy matter, write to us at redeempilates@gmail.com.
2. What data we ask for
Identification and contact data: name, email, phone, date of birth and emergency contact. Data about your activity at the studio: purchases, booked classes, attendance and cancellations. We do not store your card details: online payments are processed directly by Stripe.
3. Sensitive data: your health
To give you a safe class we ask you to fill out a health questionnaire (injuries, surgeries, pregnancy, heart, respiratory or spine conditions, and medical instructions). This is sensitive data: we only process it with your express consent, which you give by checking the box on the questionnaire. Only the studio owner and the instructors can see it; the front desk has no access.
4. What we use it for
Necessary purposes: creating and managing your account, booking and cancelling classes, keeping track of your credits and their expiry, charging for your packages, letting you know about changes to your classes and adapting the exercises to your health. Additional purpose: sending you studio promotions and news. If you don't want them, write to redeempilates@gmail.com; it won't affect your classes.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your data. To operate, we use providers that process it only on our behalf: Supabase (database), Cloudflare (website hosting), Stripe (payments) and Resend (email). Some have their servers outside Mexico, mainly in the United States. We would only share your data with an authority if the law requires it.
6. Your ARCO rights
You can ask us to access, rectify or cancel your data, or object to its use, and you can withdraw your consent. Send your request to redeempilates@gmail.com with your name, your account email and what you need. We reply within 20 business days at most. You can correct much of your data yourself under “My account”.
7. Cookies and storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site only stores in your browser what it needs to keep you signed in.
8. How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account with us and, afterwards, for the time required by tax and commercial law. When you close your account we delete your health questionnaire.
9. Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we will publish the new version on this page with its update date.
